Terms and Conditions for ticketed public events and private events
Our kitchen regularly handles ALL allergens and therefore we cannot say that any of the food that you will be provided with will be "free from" anything. Please do not book if you (our members of your party) have severe allergies or, for other dietary requirements, please get in touch BEFORE BOOKING to discuss tailoring arrangements for you. In the case of common, non-severe intolerances (e.g. gluten), we will usually be able to cater to your requirements at either the standard ticket price or a small supplementary charge. However you must let us know a minimum of one week prior to the event so we can plan the menu for the evening around this. We would be unable to cater to very severe allergies of any type due to our kitchen frequently handling all known allergens. NOTE: due to our baking methods we are unable to supply egg-free baked goods under the standard pricing system. Terms specific to children's parties (to be read in addition to the General Terms and Policies below) Your leader is DBS checked with over 20 years experience in classroom teaching. However you may be required to supply a reasonable number of adults to assist with any younger children (aged 8 and under). It is the responsibility of the adult booking the party to establish the allergy information relating to each participant. You will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions of booking at the time you make a date enquiry. Your ticking of that box means that you have read, understood and accept the full contents of this page. It also means that it is the responsibility of the booking adult to enquire with the parents or guardians of the children who will be attending their party to ensure that any pertinent medical, behavioural, photography, videography or dietary information is collated and passed on to your workshop leader, should the booking adult view that there is any information that is relevant to the safe running of the workshop. The adult booker accepts that they will act in loco parentis for all children in their party. For children's public events: Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you know that your child has behavioural issues or has any additional needs that would impact on their ability to complete any of the activities expected in the event then you will be required to stay and supervise them for the full time, regardless of age. It is your responsibility to check regarding allergens that are pertinent to your booking. Crafts, cupcake decorating and other activities that may be included in children's events will not be suitable for children aged 3 and under due to small parts and choking hazards - their participation is at your discretion in the full knowledge of this risk. Cancellations & Refunds: Total cancellations must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to your private event date or refunds will not be given. Rescheduling of your private event is permitted any time up to one week prior to the event. Rescheduling within one week of the event may incur a £50 charge on top of the event price (dependent on the activity that you had booked). If you can no longer attend a public event that you have booked for you may sell or pass on the ticket(s) to a person of your own choosing, ensuring that they have been directed by yourself to review these Terms and Conditions. If reasonable notice is given to us (one week or more) we may facilitate your selling on of an event ticket by means of our publicising it's availability. However, we cannot guarantee that a buyer will be found or that your ticket price will be refunded (this very much depends on the event type and content so please contact us for help or information in this regard). It is likely that short term cancellations by yourself will not be refunded due to the preparation that will already have been carried out. However we maybe able to offer a partial refund/credit note and/or for you to collect a selection of equipment for you to be able to carry the activity out at home. Again, please contact us for further information. We will make every effort to ensure that a public event or a private booking is not cancelled by ourselves, however there may be occasions of emergency or Act of God that may result in us being unable to perform our obligations as planned. In this rare circumstance: 1) For private bookings - we will work with you to find a mutually convenient date to which to reschedule your event. If you are unable to reschedule the date you may wish instead to contact us to arrange to receive a credit voucher (valid for two years) redeemable against any item in our store or event / booking catalogue for the equivalent of your event price. 2) For public event bookings - you will be offered a rescheduled date for the event and your ticket/booking will automatically be valid for the new time. If you are unable to make the rescheduled date you may wish to contact us to arrange to receive a credit voucher (valid for two years) redeemable against any item in our store or event / booking catalogue for the equivalent of your ticket price.
